WHICH PRODUCTS ARE SUITABLE FOR WATER AND BEACH?

Our products are designed to withstand extreme conditions and perform well in any environment, including at the beach. Many of our products are made from Mil-Spec nylon and high-quality metal components like stainless steel, brass, or aluminum. These materials do not rust when exposed to saltwater. However, regular maintenance is recommended to prolong the life of your gear.

TIP: BIOTHANE/HEXA COLLARS AND LEASHES
Our Biothane and Hexa collars and leashes are perfect for beach fun! These products are extremely easy to care for and water-resistant. With Biothane collars featuring the virtually maintenance-free COBRA GT polymer buckle, cleaning after a day at the beach is super easy. For Biothane/Hexa leashes, you only need to remove sand from the clip.

NOTE: COLLARS WITH SOFTSHELL PADDING
We recommend removing collars and harnesses with softshell padding before bathing.

Softshell dries very slowly when soaked with water, which can cause the sensitive neck and chest area of your dog to remain wet for a long time, potentially impacting your dog's health.
Additionally, if the padding doesn't dry properly, it can lead to mold formation, which could contaminate the padding and potentially affect your dog's health.

If you cannot remove the collar or harness in time because of the excitement for the bath, ensure that the softshell padding is thoroughly cleaned and dried afterward.

NOTE: LEATHER PRODUCTS
For our leather products, we use high-quality leather. To maintain their quality over the years, we recommend not exposing them to water for extended periods. Although we know many of our customers use their gear in various environments, our leather collars and leashes should be treated like other luxury leather products.

CARE TIPS AFTER THE BEACH

If your products have been exposed to saltwater or sand, thorough cleaning is essential to maximize their lifespan and prevent excessive wear. This is especially important for sand, as sand grains can cause significant micro-abrasions that weaken nylon fabric over time and hinder the proper functioning of metal components. Ensure that the products dry well in the air after rinsing to prevent mold formation in the nylon and oxidation of the metal components.
