Length - How long should the towline be?
The choice of the optimal leash depends crucially on the intended use, which is why the length is a key factor when buying. Whether for training a puppy, long dog walks, limiting swimming or targeted work with the dog - the length of the leash should be chosen to suit the intended use.
Especially when training puppies, it's advisable to use a leash that isn't too long and pair it with a harness for puppies and young dogs, particularly when the recall isn't yet reliable. It is important to stress that the leash should not act as an "emergency brake" by stepping on the end of the leash, as this can cause serious injuries.
Our long lines are available in a wide range from 3 to 20 meters to ensure that they meet individual requirements. If a long line longer than 20 meters is required, we are happy to manufacture this on request. Training leashes up to 3 meters can be found in the Leashes and Taining leashes

Whether you choose one of the various bolt snap hooks, twist-lock snap hooks or a Swedish hook, you can choose the snap hook that best suits your needs for our tow lines. All the snap hooks we use are dimensioned so that they have enough reserve even for very large and lively dogs.
For absolute safety, we offer the KongFrog, an innovative carabiner with the patented FROG system. This closes automatically when attached to the D-ring and only opens when the "frog legs" are pressed on both sides, which means that accidental opening is impossible. Despite the secure locking mechanism, the KongFrog makes it easy to attach and release the leash from the collar or harness.
